The recent openssl security bump disabled SSLv2 support, but python-m2crypto
was still referencing SSLv2 functions causing undefined symbols when the
module was imported. Backport an upstream patch to only reference these
symbols if openssl is built with SSLv2 support.

Packages like QT5 Base with OpenGL and X support link against libGAL.so
at build time. This results in an error because some X functions used
in libGAL.so aren't referenced as the libXdamage, libXext and libXfixes
packages aren't built and installed into sysroot at the time. Fix this
by adding these three packages as build dependencies of imx-gpu-viv.

Fix it by instead duplicating in linux-headers the 10-20 lines of linux.mk

The way we use it, gzip will store the current time in the header, which
leads to unreproducible archives.
Fix that by telling gzip to not store the name and date of the file it
compresses, with the -n option. Since it compresses its stdin, there was
already no filename stored; now there's even no date stored.
Note: gzip has had -n since at least 1.2.4, released in 1993, so
virtually every gzip out there nowadays has it.

We need to pass an argument to ld for setting the endianness when
building it for MIPS architecture, otherwise the default one will always
be used (which is big endian) and the compilation for little endian will
always fail showing an error like this one:

mips-linux-gnu-ld: foo.o: compiled for a little endian system and target
is big endian

With this implementation, the different licenses will be separated with
<space><comma>. This is not nice, but to avoid it a pretty ugly construct
is needed:

Since the <space><comma> is just a minor nuisance, we're not going to that kind
of complexity.

that leads to searching libmonoposixhelper into the wrong path.
This bug is fixed upstream, but not included in the current stable
release.

ARC gcc understands "-pie" option and attempts to generate PIE
binaries as of today PIE is not really supported for user-space
applications.
So we provide option which checks if compiler understands relro
and pie options and disable PIE detection if building for ARC.
Also AUTORECONF option should be added because of modified
configure.in and Makefile.am files.

Thomas P. has sent a few big feedback mails recently that explain how a
patch should be formatted. Indeed, this was not explained much in the
manual, so add a section that explains how patches should be formatted.
This is based heavily on the feedback that Thomas P. gave. Also,
specific examples for new packages and version bumps are added.

Commit 24dfbe71e (arch/arm: do not distinguish revisions of ARM1136JF-S)
removed the r0 variant of the arm1136jf-s, but didn't update the defconfig -
So it ends up using arm926 instead.
Fix it by selecting the correct symbol instead.

When invoking a build from a non-interactive session (for example, a
Jenkins build), there is no terminal session to modify. When preparing
variables to track the bold and boldoff mode sequences, the `tput`
command will always fail as there is no terminal to query. The following
change masks the error message when `tput` fails; leaving the TERM_BOLD
and TERM_RESET variables empty.

For the flac package itself libogg is an optional dependency, but for
flac support in sdl_sound libogg is mandatory:

The unversioned library was missing in the build system, part of the fix
was backported from upstream, the final patch was sent upstream.

The erlang-rebar package uses ERLANG_ as the prefix for its license
variables, therefore overriding the license information from the
erlang package. This commit fixes this by using the appropriate
ERLANG_REBAR_ suffix.

Despite the documentation and the comment in xtensa_move_literals, in
the presence of --text-section-literals and --auto-litpools literals are
moved from the separate literal sections into .init and .fini, because
the check in the xtensa_move_literals is incorrect.
This fixes build errors seen with projects that have .init/.fini and use
text-section-literals.

The icu bug http://bugs.icu-project.org/trac/ticket/11959 also
hit me, but oddly enough only when running build build server via
Jenkins. This patch adds the upstream fix for the mentioned bug, so the
patch most likely can be removed at the next version bump.

This includes a fix for a security related bug related to the listener
mount_point feature. The bug allows a client that is restricted to a
mount_point to publish messages outside this hierarchy using the last will
and testament feature.

code allowed users to pass in expressions which included out-of-range

* --with-dbuspolicydir, --with-dbussessionservicedir, and
--with-dbussystemservicedir are no longer needed since these are
defaults in recent releases.
* --disable-dbus has no effect when combined with --disable-tests. The
option itself only applies to tests, not the runtime.

Various DBus activated services fail to start with errors similar to:
Unit dbus-org.freedesktop.hostname1.service failed to load: File exists.
The message itself is rather vague and can be seen as a warning in
systemd-networkd logs. Meanwhile, tools like hostnamectl don't work
at all.
The post-install target hook SYSTEMD_SANITIZE_PATH_IN_UNITS was replacing
symlinks with duplicate files. The find command could have used -type f
to avoid this but I instead chose to remove the hook since this fix doesn't
seem to be needed anymore.

The e2fsprogs package's findfs option provides no capabilities. When the
option is selected, a symbolic link is generated from findfs to e2label;
however, e2label will not handle findfs since the respective code is
explicitly disabled when `--disable-libblkid` is passed in. At this
time, the e2fsprogs package only supports findfs capabilities when
building its "private blkid library".
Note that the `--disable-libblkid` configuration argument must remain
to prevent conflicts with util-linux's libblkid and an e2fsprogs-
generated variant (see e1ffc2f791).
Since e2fsprogs cannot provide findfs capabilities, the option is being
removed in this change. A following change will be introduced to include
util-linux's findfs utility.

Unless the tests are built with TEST_INSTALLED_UCLIBC their rpath will
point to the build directory rather than runtime directory, resulting in
non-executable tests for the target.
