The Krait CPU clocks are made up of a primary mux and secondary
mux for each CPU and the L2, controlled via cp15 accessors. For
Kraits within KPSSv1 each secondary mux accepts a different aux
source, but on KPSSv2 each secondary mux accepts the same aux
source.

Krait CPUs have a handful of L2 cache controller registers that
live behind a cp15 based indirection register. First you program
the indirection register (l2cpselr) to point the L2 'window'
register (l2cpdr) at what you want to read/write. Then you
read/write the 'window' register to do what you want. The
l2cpselr register is not banked per-cpu so we must lock around
accesses to it to prevent other CPUs from re-pointing l2cpdr
underneath us.

Some qcom platforms make some GPIOs or pins unavailable for use
by non-secure operating systems, and thus reading or writing the
registers for those pins will cause access control issues and
reset the device. With a DT/ACPI property to describe the set of
pins that are available for use, parse the available pins and set
the irq valid bits for gpiolib to know what to consider 'valid'.
This should avoid any issues with gpiolib. Furthermore, implement
the pinmux_ops::request function so that pinmux can also make
sure to not use pins that are unavailable.

On some platforms there's an ITS available but it's not enabled
because reading or writing the registers is denied by the
firmware. In fact, reading or writing them will cause the system
to reset. We could remove the node from DT in such a case, but
it's better to skip nodes that are marked as "disabled" in DT so
that we can describe the hardware that exists and use the status
property to indicate how the firmware has configured things.

The Kryo CPUs are also affected by the Falkor 1003 errata, so
we need to do the same workaround on Kryo CPUs. The MIDR is
slightly more complicated here, where the PART number is not
always the same when looking at all the bits from 15 to 4. Drop
the lower 8 bits and just look at the top 4 to see if it's '2'
and then consider those as Kryo CPUs. This covers all the

The orphan clocks reparent operation shouldn't touch the hardware
if clocks are enabled, otherwise it may get a chance to disable a
newly registered critical clock which triggers the warning below.
Assuming we have two clocks: A and B, B is the parent of A.
Clock A has flag: CLK_OPS_PARENT_ENABLE
Clock B has flag: CLK_IS_CRITICAL
Step 1:
Clock A is registered, then it becomes orphan.
Step 2:
Clock B is registered. Before clock B reach the critical clock enable
operation, orphan A will find the newly registered parent B and do
reparent operation, then parent B will be finally disabled in
__clk_set_parent_after() due to CLK_OPS_PARENT_ENABLE flag as there's
still no users of B which will then trigger the following warning.

This driver converts voltages from a non-linear range in hardware
to a linear range in software and vice versa. During the
conversion, we exclude certain voltages that are invalid to use
because the software interface is more flexible than reality.
For example, the FTSMPS2P5 regulators have a voltage range from
80000uV to 1355000uV that software could support, but we only
want to use the range of 350000uV to 1355000uV. If we don't
account for the hw selectors between 80000uV and 350000uV we'll
pick a hw selector of 0 to mean 350000uV when it really means
80000uV. This can cause us to program voltages into the hardware
that are significantly lower than what we're expecting.
And when we read it back from the hardware we'll have the same
problem, voltages that are in the invalid band will end up being
calculated as some software selector that represents a larger
voltage than what is programmed and the user will be confused.
Fix all this by properly offsetting the software selector and hw
selector when converting from one number space to another.

Now that we have devm APIs for the reset controller and of clk hw

Sometimes we only have one of_clk_del_provider() call in driver
error and remove paths, because we're missing a
devm_of_clk_add_hw_provider() API. Introduce the API so we can
convert drivers to use this and potentially reduce the amount of
code needed to remove providers in drivers.

From what I can see there isn't anything about ACPI_APEI_SEA that
means the arm64 architecture can or cannot support NMI safe
cmpxchg or NMIs, so the 'if' condition here is not important.
Let's remove it. Doing that allows us to support ftrace
histograms via CONFIG_HIST_TRIGGERS that depends on the arch
having the ARCH_HAVE_NMI_SAFE_CMPXCHG config selected.

>From what I can tell, we don't really need to treat ch_addr as

instead of ORing in the bits of the offset and achieve the same

Also, we were passing a drvdata pointer to the
coresight_timeout() function, but we really wanted to pass the
address of the register base. Luckily the base is the first
member of the structure, so everything works out, but this is
quite unsafe if we ever change the structure layout. Clean this
all up so sparse stops complaining on this code.

Commit ed75d6a969 ("arm64: dts: qcom: Collapse usb support into
one node") breaks host mode support on apq8016-sbc boards. This
is because the mux driver (tc7usb40mu) hasn't been merged.
Without that driver, we can't toggle the GPIO going to the mux to
route out the D+/D- lines to the USB hub that's on the board.
One solution would be to totally revert this change, but that
opens us up to other problems when two USB drivers are operating
the same hardware block at the same time. Let's modify the DT so
that the USB controller is always in host mode and connected to
the hub so that things like USB keyboards and mouses work. This
is the mode that most people prefer anyway with these devices. We
also delete the usb-switch node because the binding was never
accepted upstream.
In the future, we can add muxing support and then update the DT
to support both modes at runtime. Patches to support this are
already on the mailing list.
