For memory dump support (it consumes quite a lot of memory) we need to control
what is exactly stored to the crash dump. Add a module parameter call
coredump_mask to do that. It's a bit mask of these values:
enum ath10k_fw_crash_dump_type {
ATH10K_FW_CRASH_DUMP_REGISTERS = 0,
ATH10K_FW_CRASH_DUMP_CE_DATA = 1,
ATH10K_FW_CRASH_DUMP_MAX,
};
For example, if we only want to store CE_DATA we would enable bit 2:
modprobe ath10k_core coredump_mask=0x2

Now coredump is totally separate from debug.c and doesn't depend on

leftovers from the removed debugfs file support.

Thorsten reported on <fa6e3ee2-91b5-a54b-afe3-87f30aac7a48@leemhuis.info> that
commit c9353bf483 made ath10k unstable with QCA6174 on his Dell XPS13 (9360)
with an error message:
ath10k_pci 0000:3a:00.0: failed to extract amsdu: -11
It only seemed to happen with certain APs, not all, but when it happened the
only way to get ath10k working was to switch the wifi off and on with a hotkey.
As this commit made things even worse (a warning vs breaking the whole
connection) let's revert the commit for now and while the issue is being fixed.

Paul reported that this patch with older board-2.bin ath10k initialisation
fails on Dell XPS 13:
ath10k_pci 0000:3a:00.0: failed to fetch board data for bus=pci,vendor=168c,

This fixes the below crash when ath10k probe firmware fails, NAPI polling tries
to access a rx ring resource which was never allocated. An easy way to
reproduce this is easy to remove all the firmware files, load ath10k modules
and ath10k will crash when calling 'rmmod ath10k_pci'. The fix is to call
napi_enable() from ath10k_pci_hif_start() so that it matches with
napi_disable() being called from ath10k_pci_hif_stop().
Big thanks to Mohammed Shafi Shajakhan who debugged this and provided first

instead of having a workaround in core.c.

refactor all firmware components to struct ath10k_fw_components. This structure
will hold firmware related files, for example firmware-N.bin and board-N.bin.
For firmware-N.bin create a new struct ath10k_fw_file which contains the actual
firmware image as well as the parsed data from the image.

which makes it possible in following patches to drop some ugly hacks from

A frequent request have been to be able to provide calibration data from a
file as some of the AP devices store the calibration data on an MTD partition.
This patchset adds support for that and also makes it easier to add Device Tree
support later on.
The calibration data is found by using the id string provided by dev_name()
using this format:
cal-<bus>-<id>.bin
With PCI the id string contains bus, slot and func values. For example for a
PCI device in bus 2 slot 0, ath10k will try to retrieve a calibration data from
a file:
/lib/firmware/ath10k/cal-pci-0000:02:00.0.bin
The calibration data sequence is:
1. Check with request_firmware() if there's a calibration file
("cal-<bus>-<id>.bin") on the filesystem for this device. If yes, use that. If
not, goto 2
2. Check if otp.bin is able to successfully load the calibration data
from OTP. If yes, use that. If not, goto 3.
4. Print an error message that no calibration data found and stop driver
initialization for this device.

The parameter name was ath10k_target_ps, but actually it should be just
target_ps. Module parameter names should not use the ath10k_ prefix.

As cold reset is not reliable with CUS223 boards, make it possible
to disable cold reset entirely and only use warm reset. This makes it also
easier to debug warm reset problems.

ath10k_pci_wait_for_target_init() did really follow the style used elsewhere in
ath10k. Use ath10k_pci_read/write() wrappers, simplify the while loop and
improve warning messages.

Currently there are different styles used for warning messages, unify them to
look similar. The style basically is:
1) start with a verb (if possible)
2) lower case letters
3) use plain english as much as possible

When we execute otp.bin in the target check that the result it returns doesn't
contain an error. This is to make sure that we don't accidentally use invalid
calibration data.
While at it, remove the useless label in the function and add few debug messages.

It's just cleaner to have separate argument for the parameter and result. Also
fix returned error value if response length is invalid.

The help text were either out of date, too small or didn't exist at all. Also
move cfg80211 dependency to ath6kl_core module as it has all the calls to
cfg80211.
Fixes checkpatch warning:
