It's often the case that a codec driver will need to control its
own pins. However, if a name_prefix has been applied to this codec it
must be included in the name passed to any of the snd_soc_dapm_x_pin()
functions.
The behaviour of the existing pin control functions is reasonable, since
you may want to search for a fully-specified name within the scope of an
entire card. This means that we can't apply the prefix in these functions
because it will break card-scope searches.
Constructing a prefixed string "manually" in codec drivers leads to a lot
of repetition of the same code.
To make this tidier in codec drivers this patch adds a new set of
equivalent functions that take a struct snd_soc_component instead of a
dapm context and automatically add the component's name_prefix to the
given name. This makes it a simple change in codec drivers to be
prefix-safe.
The new functions are not quite trivial enough to be inlines and the
compiler won't be able to compile-away any part of them.
Although it looks somewhat inefficient to have to allocate a temporary
buffer and combine strings, the current design of the widget list
doesn't lend itself to a more optimized implementation - it's a single
list of all widgets on a card and is searched linearly for a matching
string. As pin state changes are generally low-frequency events it's
unlikely to be a significant issue - at least not enough to rewrite the
widget list handling just for this.

We were adding firmware controls as card controls (using
snd_soc_add_codec_controls). The DSP is part of a specific codec so
we should be adding them as codec controls. Adding as codec controls
also means that if the codec has a name_prefix it will be added to
the control name, which won't happen when adding as a card control.
As that was the only use of the card pointer in struct wm_adsp it can
be removed.
For ADSP2 codecs a wm_adsp2_codec_probe() was added since the original
control handling was written, and that's the logical place to store a
pointer to the codec rather than delaying it until the codec is
powered-up.
For ADSP1 we don't use a codec_probe() stage so the codec pointer
initialization replaces the original card pointer initialization in
wm_adsp1_event().

Add a new set of array reading functions that take a minimum and
maximum size limit and will fail if the property size is not within
the size limits. This makes it more convenient for drivers that
use variable-size DT arrays which must be bounded at both ends -
data must be at least N entries but must not overflow the array
it is being copied into. It is also more efficient than making this
functionality out of existing public functions and avoids duplication.
The existing array functions have been left in the API, since there
are a very large number of clients of those functions and their
existing functionality is still useful. This avoids turning a small
API improvement into a major kernel rework.
The old functions have been turned into mininmal static inlines calling
the new functions. The old functions had no upper limit on the actual
size of the dts entry, to preserve this functionality rather than keeping
two near-identical implementations, if the new function is called with
max=0 there is no limit on the size of the dts entry but only the min
number of elements are read.

The WM5102 and WM8997 codecs have an internal dynamic clock booster.
When this booster is active, the DCVDD voltage must be increased.
If all the currently active audio paths can run with the root SYSCLK
we can disable the booster, allowing us to turn down DCVDD voltage
to save power.
Previously this was being done by having the booster enable bit set
as a side-effect of the LDO1 regulator driver, which is unexpected
behaviour of a regulator and not compatible with using an external
regulator. [Originally this was documented as a feature of the internal
LDO -- broonie]
This patch exports functions to handle the booster enable and
DCVDD voltage, with each relevant subsystem flagging whether it can
currently run without the booster. Note that these subsystems are
stateless and none of them are nestable, so there's no need for
reference counting, we only need a simple boolean for each subsystem
of whether their current condition could require the booster or will
allow us to turn the codec down to lower operating power.

regulator being switched off. Since the regulator disable
can fail an abort notification is also added.

The list of gpios is defined as optional but the code was
failing to properly handle the case of no gpios, and also
failing to check for errors reading the entry from the
devicetree.
This patch fixes the handling of optional gpios - this is a
useful feature enabling the gpio-regulator to be used as a
dummy variable voltage regulator without having to assign any
real GPIO lines.

Changes to the AIF configuration registers only take
effect when the AIF is disabled. If the configuration
is being changed from the previous setup, temporarily
disable the AIF.

Adds an equivalent of SOC_ENUM_EXT for value enums
Strictly speaking SOC_ENUM_EXT can also be used to define
a value enum since the only difference is the get and set
functions. But this doesn't look good in code because it is
inconsistent with the normal control definitions. Adding a
specific SOC_VALUE_ENUM_EXT is better for code clarity.
