Baruch Siach f39810149e package/libcurl: fix crypto backend selection
Since version 7.77 --with-ssl that used to select OpenSSL renamed to
--with-openssl. --without-ssl changed to mean no crypto backend.

Only in version 7.86 setting both --without-ssl and some other crypto
parameter became a hard configure error.

Update OpenSSL selection parameter, and add --without-ssl explicitly for
the case of no selected crypto backend.

Baruch Siach 400b63432e libcurl: security bump to version 7.86.0
Version 7.85.0 fixes CVE-2022-35252: When curl retrieves and parses
cookies from an HTTP(S) server, it accepts cookies using control codes
(byte values below 32). When cookies that contain such control codes are
later sent back to an HTTP(S) server, it might make the server return a
400 response. Effectively allowing a "sister site" to deny service to
siblings.

Drop upstream patches and autoreconf.

On platform that do not provide __atomic_exchange_1(), and when

Baruch Siach 6d07e2618c package/uacme: requires TLS support in libcurl
uacme configure script fails when libcurl does not support TLS. This
means that BR2_PACKAGE_LIBCURL_TLS_NONE is incompatible with uacme.

Add a kconfig knob to libcurl, BR2_PACKAGE_LIBCURL_FORCE_TLS, so that
_TLS_NONE is not an option. Select that from uacme.

Note that, beside selecting BR2_PACKAGE_LIBCURL_FORCE_TLS, packages will
have to also select a package that can be used as a crypto backend by
libcurl. Use of BR2_PACKAGE_LIBCURL_FORCE_TLS is unlikely to become very
common in the foreseeable future, so we don't need to optimize with
automatic selection of crypto backend.

uacme already needs a crypto package for itself, so the above
requirement is naturally met for uacme.

The NSS crypto backend requires a special option now, without it
configure errors out with:

configure: error: NSS use must be confirmed using --with-nss-deprecated. NSS support will be dropped from curl in August 2022. See docs/DEPRECATE.md

Since it will be removed entirely soon anyway, and since this version
doesn't fix any CVEs so doesn't need to be backported to stable
branches, drop the NSS option entirely.

Since NSS is going to be removed soon, drop the --without-nss as well.
It is never going to be enabled automatically.

Peter Korsgaard 6d6842130b package/libcurl: security bump to version 7.79.1
Fixes the following security issues:

- CVE-2021-22945: UAF and double-free in MQTT sending
When sending data to an MQTT server, libcurl could in some circumstances
erroneously keep a pointer to an already freed memory area and both use
that again in a subsequent call to send data and also free it again.

  https://curl.se/docs/CVE-2021-22945.html

- CVE-2021-22946: Protocol downgrade required TLS bypassed
A user can tell curl to require a successful upgrade to TLS when speaking
to an IMAP, POP3 or FTP server (--ssl-reqd on the command line or
CURLOPT_USE_SSL set to CURLUSESSL_CONTROL or CURLUSESSL_ALL with libcurl).
This requirement could be bypassed if the server would return a properly
  crafted but perfectly legitimate response.

This flaw would then make curl silently continue its operations without
TLS contrary to the instructions and expectations, exposing possibly
sensitive data in clear text over the network.

  https://curl.se/docs/CVE-2021-22946.html

- CVE-2021-22947: STARTTLS protocol injection via MITM
When curl connects to an IMAP, POP3, SMTP or FTP server to exchange data
securely using STARTTLS to upgrade the connection to TLS level, the server
can still respond and send back multiple responses before the TLS upgrade.
Such multiple "pipelined" responses are cached by curl. curl would then
upgrade to TLS but not flush the in-queue of cached responses and instead
use and trust the responses it got before the TLS handshake as if they
  were authenticated.

Using this flaw, it allows a Man-In-The-Middle attacker to first inject
the fake responses, then pass-through the TLS traffic from the legitimate
server and trick curl into sending data back to the user thinking the
attacker's injected data comes from the TLS-protected server.

Over POP3 and IMAP an attacker can inject fake response data.

Yann E. MORIN 4fea071c61 package/libcurl: add option for no SSL/TLS support
Since we already have a choice to select the backend to do crypto, push
the limits even further and add an option to do no crypto.

Usually, we would have added that option first in the choice, but if we
were to do that now, existing defconfigs that previously used openssl
(the first item in the choice) would now default to non crypto, which is
not so nice. So we add the new option last in the choice.

Each crypto backend option is used in a conditional block, each of which
default to disabling said backend. So, selecting none will indeed
disable all.

We can now drop the blind intermediate option that would hide the choice
when no backend library was available; there will now always be at least
the none option in the choice, so we need not hide it.

Julien Grossholtz d08c76e45d libcurl: add wolfssl as an option for TLS
Libcurl recipe allows selecting between various TLS backends. Users can
already select between several options but WolfSSL was missing. WolfSSL
is an efficient TLS library, it supports TLS 1.3 and is used in many
embedded systems.

Add WolfSSL to libcurl "SSL/TLS library to use" choice list when WolfSSL
package is enabled. When selected in the list, use libcurl
--with-wolfssl configure option. Explicitly set --without-wolfssl
when it is not selected.

Thomas De Schampheleire 02e6805010 package/libcurl: introduce options to extend/reduce feature set
Libcurl is more than 250 KiB (libcurl) / 100 KiB (curl binary) in size.
About 50 KiB / 15 KiB of this can be saved by disabling features/protocols
that are not commonly needed:

- proxy support: 15 KiB
- cookies support: 10 KiB
- various less common protocols: 25 KiB (libcurl) + 15 KiB (curl binary)

Note that the exact amount of space saved depends on the architecture,
toolchain, and other factors.

Other packages that are selecting libcurl might require protocols from the
'extra' set. But, there is no clear way to find out which packages are in
this situation, in particular because issues may only be visible at runtime.

Note: remove the text 'enable' on the option for 'verbose strings' as that
is more common in Buildroot.
