Alexey Brodkin from Synopsys says in [1]:
I think indeed, we may remove all the big-endian support for ARC.
Reasons are since introduction of ARC HS4x processors we no longer
support big-endian in any new processor IP, and even for older IP
which used to support big-endian it was rarely used... so basically
there's no good justification to spend any cycles on big-endian
support looking forward in this project. I.e. BE support in uClibc
could also be removed if it makes any difference.
Therefore, let's removed support for ARC big-endian.

Commit 527deef "package/fluent-bit: bump to 3.2.10",
dropped the BUILD_SHARED_LIBS=OFF off part, because miniz uses
static linking by default now, but runtime execution shows otherwise,
so revert to fix.

Indeed, this LFS workaround was present since the addition of the
package in commit 6a0f7c39bc and is
only needed to fix a build failure with the old codesourcery-arm
toolchain from 2014 which uses glibc < 2.23. as glibc 2.23 was released
in February 2016: https://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/Release/2.23, drop
this workaround as already done for libselinux in commit
c1fa9bc2f7. A follow-up patch will also
drop codesourcery-arm toolchain.

Fluent-bit is written in pure c, so drop any cxx handling. Only the wasm
part needs c++, but that one doesn't need the fixes which are now dropped.

Luajit was not used at all when it was selected, instead fluent-bit
recompiled it without taking care of the complexities that were
handled in the luajit package. Fix this by linking dynamically to the
buildroot provided version.
