[ Upstream commit 8380dbf1b9ef66e3ce6c1d660fd7259637c2a929 ]

Combinations of "tx" alone, "rx" alone and "tx", "rx" together are
supposedly valid (see link below), which is not the case today as "rx"
alone is not accepted by the current binding.

Let's rework the two interrupt properties to expose all correct
possibilities.

5e3583b4c0 ASoC: dt-bindings: davinci-mcasp: Fix interrupts property
[ Upstream commit 17d8adc4cd5181c13c1041b197b76efc09eaf8a8 ]

My understanding of the interrupts property is that it can either be:
1/ - TX
2/ - TX
   - RX
3/ - Common/combined.

There are very little chances that either:
   - TX
   - Common/combined
or even
   - TX
   - RX
   - Common/combined
could be a thing.

Looking at the interrupt-names definition (which uses oneOf instead of
anyOf), it makes indeed little sense to use anyOf in the interrupts
definition. I believe this is just a mistake, hence let's fix it.

[ Upstream commit c6929644c1e0d6108e57061d427eb966e1746351 ]

Add missing reg minItems as based on current binding document
only ethernet MAC IO space is a supported configuration.

There is a bug in schema, current examples contain 64-bit
addressing as well as 32-bit addressing. The schema validation
does pass incidentally considering one 64-bit reg address as
two 32-bit reg address entries. If we change axi_ethernet_eth1
example node reg addressing to 32-bit schema validation reports:

Documentation/devicetree/bindings/net/xlnx,axi-ethernet.example.dtb:
ethernet@40000000: reg: [[1073741824, 262144]] is too short

To fix it add missing reg minItems constraints and to make things clearer
stick to 32-bit addressing in examples.

a0495607c1 dt-bindings: thermal: correct thermal zone node name limit
commit 97e32381d0fc6c2602a767b0c46e15eb2b75971d upstream.

Linux kernel uses thermal zone node name during registering thermal
zones and has a hard-coded limit of 20 characters, including terminating
NUL byte. The bindings expect node names to finish with '-thermal'
which is eight bytes long, thus we have only 11 characters for the reset
of the node name (thus 10 for the pattern after leading fixed character).

a291998f8a dt-bindings: adc: axi-adc: update bindings for backend framework
[ Upstream commit a032b921bdeba2274866daafc8e791edd609eb13 ]

'adi,adc-dev' is now deprecated and must not be used anymore. Hence,
also remove it from being required.

The reason why it's being deprecated is because the axi-adc CORE is now
an IIO service provider hardware (IIO backends) for consumers to make use
of. Before, the logic with 'adi,adc-dev' was the opposite (it was kind
of consumer referencing other nodes/devices) and that proved to be wrong
and to not scale.

Now, IIO consumers of this hardware are expected to reference it using the
io-backends property. Hence, the new '#io-backend-cells' is being added
so the device is easily identified as a provider.

Add the missing 'thermal-sensor-cells' property which is required for
every thermal sensor as it's used when using phandles.
And add the thermal-sensor.yaml reference.

In fact, it was a careless mistake when submitting the driver that
caused it to not work properly. So the fix is necessary, although it

[ Upstream commit cc349b0771dccebf0fa9f5e1822ac444aef11448 ]

Several clocks as well as both sgmiisys phandles were added by mistake
to the Ethernet bindings for MT7988. Also, the total number of clocks
didn't match with the actual number of items listed.

This happened because the vendor driver which served as a reference uses
a high number of syscon phandles to access various parts of the SoC
which wasn't acceptable upstream. Hence several parts which have never
previously been supported (such SerDes PHY and USXGMII PCS) are going to
be implemented by separate drivers. As a result the device tree will
look much more sane.

Quickly align the bindings with the upcoming reality of the drivers
actually adding support for the remaining Ethernet-related features of
the MT7988 SoC.

Jonathan writes:

2nd set of IIO fixes for the 6.6 cycle.

Note, given timing my expectation is these will be queued for the
6.7 merge window but they could go quicker if the 6.6 cycle ends up
being extended.

afe:
  * Allow for channels with offset but no scale. In this case the scale
can be assumed to be 1.
adi,ad74115:
  * Add missing dt-binding constraint on number of reset-gpios.
samsung,exynos:
  * Don't request touchscreen interrupt if it is not going to be used,
getting rid of an incorrect resulting warning message.
xilinx,xadc:
  * Avoid changing preset voltage and themperature thresholds as they
are typicaly set as part of FPGA image building so should be left
    alone.
  * Fix wrong temperature offset and scale for some devices.
