Here we move bitmaps and use DECLARE_BITMAP to declare them in the new
structure. And instead of memset, we use bitmap_zero as it is more

Here we start moving all the n_tty related bits from tty_struct to
the newly defined n_tty_data struct in n_tty proper.
In this patch primitive members and bits are moved. The rest will be
done per-partes in the next patches.

The goal is to stop setting and using tty->driver_data in devpts code.
It should be used solely by the driver's code, pty in this case.
Now driver_data are managed only in the pty driver. devpts_pty_new is
switched to accept what we used to dig out of tty_struct, i.e. device
node number and index.
This also removes a note about driver_data being set outside of the
driver.

The goal is to stop setting and using tty->driver_data in devpts code.
It should be used solely by the driver's code, pty in this case.
For the cleanup of layering, we will need the inode created in
devpts_pty_new to be stored into slave's driver_data. So we convert
devpts_pty_new to return the inode or an ERR_PTR-encoded error in case
of failure.
The move of 'inode = new_inode(sb);' from declarators to the code is
only cosmetical, but it makes the code easier to read.

devpts_get_priv. Note we do not remove type safety, we just shift the
[implicit] (void *) cast one layer up.

Modify the device PM QoS core code to support PM QoS flags requests.
First, add a new field of type struct pm_qos_flags called "flags"
to struct dev_pm_qos for representing the list of PM QoS flags
requests for the given device. Accordingly, add a new "type" field
to struct dev_pm_qos_request (along with an enum for representing
request types) and a new member called "flr" to its data union for
representig flags requests.
Second, modify dev_pm_qos_add_request(), dev_pm_qos_update_request(),
the internal routine apply_constraint() used by them and their
existing callers to cover flags requests as well as latency
requests. In particular, dev_pm_qos_add_request() gets a new
argument called "type" for specifying the type of a request to be
added.
Finally, introduce two routines, __dev_pm_qos_flags() and
dev_pm_qos_flags(), allowing their callers to check which PM QoS
flags have been requested for the given device (the caller is
supposed to pass the mask of flags to check as the routine's
second argument and examine its return value for the result).

The subsequent patches will use struct dev_pm_qos_request for
representing both latency requests and flags requests. To make that
easier, put the node member of struct dev_pm_qos_request (under the
name "pnode") into a union called "data" that will represent the
request's value and list node depending on its type.

Introduce struct pm_qos_flags_request and struct pm_qos_flags
representing PM QoS flags request type and PM QoS flags constraint
type, respectively. With these definitions the data structures
will be arranged so that the list member of a struct pm_qos_flags
object will contain the head of a list of struct pm_qos_flags_request
objects representing all of the "flags" requests present for the
given device. Then, the effective_flags member of a struct
pm_qos_flags object will contain the bitwise OR of the flags members
of all the struct pm_qos_flags_request objects in the list.
Additionally, introduce helper function pm_qos_update_flags()
allowing the caller to manage the list of struct pm_qos_flags_request
pointed to by the list member of struct pm_qos_flags.
The flags are of type s32 so that the request's "value" field
is always of the same type regardless of what kind of request it
is (latency requests already have value fields of type s32).

Currently struct dev_pm_info contains only one PM QoS constraints
pointer reserved for latency requirements. Since one more device
constraints type (i.e. flags) will be necessary, introduce a new
structure, struct dev_pm_qos, that eventually will contain all of
the available device PM QoS constraints and replace the "constraints"
pointer in struct dev_pm_info with a pointer to the new structure
called "qos".

Add a bit TCPI_OPT_SYN_DATA (32) to the socket option TCP_INFO:tcpi_options.
It's set if the data in SYN (sent or received) is acked by SYN-ACK. Server or
client application can use this information to check Fast Open success rate.

Enhance the ehci-platform driver to also accept no_io_watchdog as a platform
data parameter. When no_io_watchdog is set to 1, the ehci controller will set
ehci->need_io_watchdog to 0. Since most EHCI controllers do need the I/O
watchdog to be on, only let those which need it to turn the watchdog off.
Make sure that we change need_io_watchdog after the call to ehci_setup()
because ehci_setup() will unconditionnaly set need_io_watchdog to 1.

The BCM4706 has two PCIe host controller on the bcma bus. For PCIe
client mode it is assumed that there is only one PCIe controller so the
PCIe driver, like b43 and brcmsmac are accessing the first PCIe
controller when they want to issue a operation on the host controller.

There are some devices which are able to boot from nand flash and other
are using a serial flash for booting. Add a bool to indicate that the
device is booted from that flash chip and not from some other chip also
connected to the SoC. This is needed to find the nvram, as it is stored
on the flash the devices booted from.

Some parts of the initialization for chip common and the pcie core are
accessing the sprom struct, but it is not initialized at that stage.
Just do the necessary thing in the early register on SoCs and not the
complete initialization to read out the nvram from the flash chip.
After it is possible to read out the nvram, the sprom should be parsed
from it and the full initialization of the cores should be run.

For ADCs or DACs the denominator for fractional types often is a power of two.
In this case we can use a shift operation instead of the rather expensive 64 bit
division. This patch adds a new fractional type which expects the denominator to
be specified as the log2 of the actual denominator. E.g. for ADCs and DACs this
will usually be the number of significant bits.

Some datasheets use a different unit to specify the channel scale than what IIO
expects it to be. This patch adds two helper macros which allow to convert units
commonly used in datasheets to IIO units:
* acceleration: g -> meter / second**2
* angular velocity: degree (/ second) -> rad (/ second)
This makes it much more convenient to specify and also easier to verify a
channel's scale attribute.

I'm aware that is is a little late for the UAPI renames for the DVB
API, but IMHO, it is better to merge it for 3.7, due to two reasons:
1) There is a major rename at 3.7 (not only uapi changes, but also
the entire media drivers were reorganized on 3.7, in order to
simplify the Kconfig logic, and easy drivers selection, especially
for hybrid devices). By confining all those renames there at 3.7
it will cause all the harm at for media developers on just one
shot. Stable backports upstream and at distros will likely
welcome it as well, as they won't need to check what changed on
3.7 and what was postponed for on 3.8.
2) The V4L2 DocBook Makefile creates a cross-reference between the
media API headers and the specs. This helps us _a_lot_ to be sure
that all API improvements are properly documented. Every time a
header changes from one place to another, DocBook/media/Makefile
needs to be patched. Currently, the DocBook breakage patch
depends on the DVB UAPI."

WLAN_EID_WPA and WLAN_EID_GENERIC mapped to the same value
as WLAN_EID_VENDOR_SPECIFIC. The last one being more in line
with the standard specification. Removing WLAN_EID_WPA and
WLAN_EID_GENERIC as there are no longer drivers using these.

The TPS65090's DCDC output can also be enable/disable through the
external digital input signal. Add support for enable/disable
either through register access via I2C or through external
control inputs. The external control inputs can be driven through
GPIOs also and hence adding support for passing the GPIO number.

TPS65090 supports the two LDOs, LDO1 and LDO2. These are
always ON regulators. The output on these LDOs are available
once the input voltage available for these LDOs.
Add support for these LDOs regulators.

To make the names proper and more appropriate:
Rename the driver name from tps65090-regulator to tps65090-pmic.
Rename the regulators from TPS65090_ID_* to TPS65090_REGULATOR_*
